ADU Online makes it easy to get started on your MHA degree. Whether you are applying with an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree, no GRE or GMAT scores are required. If you are working within the healthcare field, we invite you to apply today.
Admission requirements for the online MHA-SI vary slightly based on whether you are entering the program with a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
Both types of degree-holders need the following to apply:
- Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Application and fee
- Essay/goal statement
- 3 letters of recommendation. Preference is for one academic and two professional referrals.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
If you currently have an associate degree, you need to be employed in the healthcare field and hold a professional licensure or certificate in a health-related field.
Credits from courses you took at another regionally accredited institution might transfer to the MHA program. After admission to the program, we’ll conduct an official transfer credit evaluation of all completed coursework. An Admissions Coordinator can answer any additional questions you have about transferring credits.
For students entering with a bachelor’s degree, there are 39 total credit hours of graduate courses (additional undergraduate courses may be needed). For students entering with an associate degree, there are 60 total credit hours. The bachelor’s to MHA program can be completed in as few as 24 months. The associate to MHA program can be completed in 36 months.
We encourage you to explore financial aid options, including scholarships or employer reimbursement, which might be available to you. To learn more about the value of earning your MHA with ADU Online, visit our Investment page.
Applicants who work in the Florida Hospital System can use employer reimbursement to pay for their degree. To reach the education assistance team, call 407-303-3452 or email them at FH.Tuition.Reimbursement@ahss.org. Your director will need to approve you for reimbursement. After you’ve received approval, the education assistance team will work with ADU Online to help manage the reimbursement while you earn your degree.
If you aren’t an employee of Florida Hospital, contact your employer directly to see if it offers tuition reimbursement or speak with an Admissions Coordinator at ADU.
